The dog overpopulation crisis is worse than you think and you’ve never noticed… until now. Dogs have stood by us for centuries, offering companionship, comfort, and unwavering loyalty. They ease loneliness, brighten our lives, and ask for little in return. Yet across the country, millions of unwanted dogs roam the streets. Shelters are overflowing. Rescue organizations are stretched thin. Every day, healthy dogs face euthanasia simply because there’s nowhere for them to go.

Personal stories, expert insights, and hard data challenge us to reconsider what it truly means to be “man’s best friend” and what we must do to end this crisis. We’ve already invested our time, equipment, and resources, capturing dozens of hours in South Carolina, one of the hardest-hit states. But this issue is more significant than any one place. It demands urgent action.
